How does circulatory system work?

The circulatory system consists of three independent systems that work together: the heart (cardiovascular), lungs (pulmonary), and arteries, veins, coronary and portal vessels (systemic). The system is responsible for the flow of blood, nutrients, oxygen and other gases, and as well as hormones to and from cells.

An average adult has 5 to 6 quarts (4.7 to 5.6 liters) of blood, which is made up of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. The heart is a muscular organ with four chambers. Located just behind and slightly left of the breastbone, it pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovas- cular system.  The systemic circulation is a major portion of the circulatory system.

 উপরের  ছবিটা দেখুন : সবাই বলে, নিজের চোখে দেখেছি। যা দেখেছি তাতো আর মিথ্যা হতে পারেনা। ছবিটা দেখুন আর মিলিয়ে দেখুন আপনার চোখ কতটুকু  সত্য কথা বলে।  ছবিটাতে একটি ৭০ বছরের বৃদ্ধা ও একটি ১৮ বছরের যুবতী মেয়ে দেখা যাবে। আপনি যদি প্রথমেই বৃদ্ধা দেখে থাকেন তবে শুধুই বৃদ্ধাই দেখবেন যদি না কেউ আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেয় যে এই ভাবে তাকাও, তবে তুমি একটি যুবতী  মেয়ে দেখতে পাবে। দেখবেন বৃদ্ধার পরিবর্তে সেখানে একটা যুবতী মেয়ের ছবি। এটা আসলে আমাদের দৃষ্টি বিভ্রম। এর কারন জানতে গেলে আপনাকে আমাদের দর্শনেন্দ্রিয়ের কার্যক্রম বুঝতে হবে। এত সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিসরে অত কিছু জানানো সম্ভব নয় বলে বলছি যে, কোন বস্তুু আমরা এক সাথে দেখতে পাইনা।
